Tana Mongeau may have broken law with #bootyforbiden posts

This YouTuber’s free nudie campaign may be against US electoral law.

In an effort to get out the vote last month, social media star Tana Mongeau offered to send her followers naked pictures in exchange for proof they voted for Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.

“if u send me proof u voted for Biden I’ll send you a nude for free,” Mongeau, 22, tweeted to her 2.4 million Twitter followers in a now-deleted post on Wednesday, Sept. 30, along with her OnlyFans account link, the hashtag #bootyforbiden and three rows of white hearts.

The blonde bombshell later posted an update on her Instagram featuring an image of Biden’s head imposed over her bikini’d body. “update #bootyforbiden broke tana uncensored. love to see so many ppl who want change as badly as i do. u don’t need my ass to know what’s right for America so go VOTE! today was fun, ily,” she captioned the picture.

Shortly thereafter, TMZ reported, she temporarily lost the verification mark on her YouTube channel, where she has over 5.4 million subscribers. The verification mark has since been restored, but TMZ speculated that her bootylicious campaign may have been to blame for the brief removal, as it potentially violated electoral law.

Vote-buying, the outlet wrote, is a felony under federal law, and Mongeau “was arguably committing a crime” by offering nudies in exchange for voter evidence.

“Of course, her loss of YT verification could also just be a technicality over her recent name change” following her breakup with fellow YouTuber Jake Paul, TMZ acknowledged.

Previously in the pandemic, Mongeau made headlines for opening up about her battle with depression and addiction and, more recently, for wearing a bikini and a face mask to the grocery store.

“Vibing,” the social media sensation captioned a video of herself and friend Ashley Schwan shopping, her face covered but her body exposed.
