Stranger shoves 2-year-old girl to ground in random Bronx attack


A stranger shoved a 2-year-old girl to the ground in the Bronx for no apparent reason, cops said.

The woman pushed the toddler around 8:45 a.m. at 230 East 198th Street, police said. The girl was walking with her mom at the time of the attack.

The toddler, who suffered redness and swelling to the face, was taken to Montefiore Hospital.

The attacker fled north on Valentine Avenue, cops said.

No further information was immediately available.
