Florida cheerleader Tristyn Bailey was last seen alive walking beside her alleged killer right before she was brutally stabbed 114 times, chilling new surveillance video shows.
Prosecutors released a trove of new evidence on Tuesday in relation to 14-year-old Aiden Fucci’s murder case.
Among the evidence is footage of the 13-year-old cheerleader walking beside Fucci toward a wooded area just after midnight on May 9 in their St. Johns neighborhood.
Police say it is the last time Bailey was spotted alive.
Over an hour later, the surveillance video allegedly shows Fucci sprinting away from a wooded area alone.
Police found Bailey’s body in the woods that same day after she was reported missing by her family.
According to her autopsy report, Bailey had 49 defensive stab wounds on her arms and right hand.
She also had 35 stab wounds to her head and neck, including some as deep as 1 3/4-inches and ones so savage the knife broke off in her scalp.
Among the other new evidence released by prosecutors was surveillance footage of Fucci’s mother, Crystal Smith, allegedly washing her son’s bloodstained jeans after the murder.
The video was taken inside Fucci’s family home, according to investigators.
Smith was charged in June with tampering with evidence in relation to Bailey’s murder after turning herself in. She was released on a $25,000 bond.
Three Snapchat videos were also released by prosecutors that show Fucci in the back of a police car that were allegedly taken while authorities were searching for Bailey.
‘We’re having fun, in a f—ing cop car,” Fucci says in one of the Snapchat videos.
In another video, Fucci says: “Guess who’s in a f—ing cop car… tripping, dude.”
The release of the evidence comes after police documents revealed Fucci had previously told a close female friend about his desire to murder someone and that he heard voices in his head telling him to kill.
Less than a month before Bailey was found dead, Fucci allegedly told his friend that “he was going to murder someone … within the month.”
The friend later told investigators that Fucci told her “he would find a random person walking at night, drag them into the woods, and stab them.”
“He would act innocent after the murder and continue killing people,” the friend recalled to cops, adding that he told her he would ultimately “run away, make people believe he was dead, and continue killing people.”
Fucci is charged with first-degree murder and will be tried as an adult.
