On June 21, 2020, the Lord gave me a vision of thousands, if not millions of voters – some voting early and others standing in long lines. He took me to several different voting locations and I could see that in each, minorities made up most of the voters. While this was not unusual, I knew Holy Spirit had a reason and message in showing me the vision.
In answer to my unspoken question, He simply said, “this is going to be a different election, even from the one I gave My ‘Appointed’ one in 2016. At that time, I moved on the hearts of many to vote for a businessman that was chosen for a set time and season in My nation.”
“I AM have not changed and will show the realm of darkness My power to change hearts and a deceptive mindset that has harmed many of My Children for decades. Watch and see as I AM will move many to break old traditions and beliefs for the first time in their lives. The love of this nation and My Son will set them free from being taken for granted and deprived of many benefits My nation has to offer. The deceiving shackles will be loosened and they will be set free from the expectations and obligations of corrupt and manipulative impostors that speak My name but are of their father the devil. By the millions, I AM will correct their course and lead them on a new pathway for My Glory.”
With this vision, I was not given a prophetic word. The Lord said He would “show me what was to be in the weeks ahead.”
When He used the words set free, I immediately thought of one of my favorite leaders in all of history – Dr. King, Jr. Years ago, I was given a vision of Reverend King that I have only shared with my amazing son and beautiful bride. It was both sad and intuitive. A quote of the civil rights leader from Britannica 1 , “I don’t think the Republican Party is a party full of the almighty God, nor is the Democratic Party. They both have weaknesses. And I’m not inextricably bound to either party.”
What I sensed from the vision is that the Black voter is going to be set free from the deceptive practices and empty words of “politicians” and leaders that have taken this group for granted for many decades. When I ran for public office, even those that genuinely cared for me and attended the same “Church” said they could not vote for me – several with tears in their eyes. This is changing as well for those in the Hispanic/Latino voting bloc.
